Pet Kokoni (shown as Kokoni on your device) is developed and operated by Dewei Meng, an individual developer (“we”). This policy explains what information Pet Kokoni handles, where it is kept, and how you can manage it.
To provide the timer, the companion pet, growth and collecting, Pet Kokoni keeps the following on your device:
This information is used only to show your progress and to provide these features in the app. Deleting the app deletes it from your device.
Pet Kokoni is backed up in one of two ways, depending on the device, as described below.
iPhone: if your device is signed in to iCloud, Pet Kokoni backs up the records, notes and settings listed in section 2 to your own iCloud private database (Apple’s CloudKit), so that your progress comes back after you reinstall the app or move to a new device.
Android: if the system’s automatic backup is on for your device, Android backs up the records, notes and settings listed in section 2 to your own Google account, so that your progress comes back after you reinstall the app or move to a new device.
Pet Kokoni asks for each permission only when you use the feature that needs it. You can decline, or turn it off later in your system settings (on iPhone in Settings; on Android under Settings → Apps → Kokoni, which may differ slightly between device makers); only that feature is affected.

When you choose the apps allowed during Deep Focus on Android, Pet Kokoni reads the list of apps that can be opened from your home screen (names and icons) on your device, only to let you choose. Your choice stays on your device and we cannot see it.
The countdown on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island (Live Activity) is shown on your device and needs no separate permission; you can turn it off in iOS Settings.
In versions that offer in-app purchases, payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details, Apple Account or contact information. Pet Kokoni reads the state of your purchases and trial from the App Store on your device to decide which features to open.
When you save or share a gift picture or video, the file carries a label stating that it was generated by AI (the software name Pet Kokoni and the gift’s number). The file contains no personal information. Once shared to another app, that app’s rules apply.
The pets’ pictures and videos and the gift pictures in the app are generated by AI models. They were generated during development; using Pet Kokoni sends nothing of yours to any AI model.

Pet Kokoni is not designed for children under 14. Minors should use it with the consent and guidance of a parent or guardian. Pet Kokoni collects no one’s personal information; a minor’s data likewise stays only on their device and in their iCloud or Google account backup.
When this policy changes, we raise the version number and update the effective date. If a change needs your agreement again, Pet Kokoni asks you to read and agree to it the next time you open the app.
